If your looking to master sign language it isn't going to happen over night, and its going to take time, dedication and practice, like any other language; especially since you have to make sure your hand gestures, facial expressions and postures are correct. Here is a quick synopsis of some of the key points addressed in the tabs above: Background Information: In this section I briefly discuss what is sign language, what is American sign language, and its origins as well sentence structure. Then in the section about Manual American Sign Language: I discuss a little more of the history of American Sign Language, with some techniques on signing, then how to sign the alphabet and number (0-9) is discussed. Then the section on Common Terminology: there are a few basic words to learn like how to sign "yes", "no", and etc. But if you want to learn more signs I recommend you go to the website http://www.signingsavvy.com/, which has a dictionary and a video on the word you are trying to sign.
